Debra Anne Myburgh
Debra holds a Masters Degree in Psychology from Potchefstroom University and an Honours degree in Communication from Unisa, she is also a qualified teacher and registered trauma counsellor. Debra holds a number of other diplomas and certifications in specialties such as Play Therapy, Filial Play Therapy and Art Therapy amongst many others.
Debra has had research papers recognised at both local and international conferences:
- The Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology conference in Dublin in 2016.
- 9th Child Trauma Conference in Durban 2016.
Debra currently owns and run a business called TraumaCare who are a group of leading specialists providing Counselling Services, Psychologists and Play Therapists to individuals, schools and corporates.
Debra also writes childrens books to help with many milestones, these books encourage bravery and boost self-esteem in children. The books are sold through Debra’s company Brave Books. www.bravebooks.co.za
